Im sorry to say this because ive been loyal since the beginning but i am 99.99% not going to read the blogs anymore. Im sorry but let me explain why. When i read the book "the outsiders", i felt a sense of friendship even through hardships. It even made me want to live during those times. When i first found out about the blog, i still felt that, even with a few of the new people(kinda). It felt like an extension of the book..... until the plot line got messed up. I dont really see any grease vs soc anymore which takes a lot a way. Actually, i was about to be a blogger( Secret Social if you remember) but that wouldn't be able to survive because the lack of that part of the storyline.
Second of all, theres too many bloggers, like really. Im not gonna spend forever to read like 10 posts a day, more if i missed a day. It's ridiculous. Also, the characters come in pretty randomly, like they just appear. I still don't want to reveal who i think is unnecessary but it starts with one person, then a million people come after them. Its not really the outsiders post anymore, its more like a teen drama, lets all get drunk and party blog.
Remember when i think blair made a group photo of the members near a lighthouse or something, it looked really cool how u fit everyone, but if she did that now, it would look more like a class picture. Plus, i dont think the chat is working out either.
Im sorry to say but this blogging group has small turn for the better in the beginning but a enormous turn to the worse and i think we cant go back. Mr Anonymous

uhhh more to add, i just forgot to put this, some particular characters, esp one which really upsets more has really upset me cuz they are totally different from how the char used to be and pretty much took a 180 degree turn. Plus, there are only 2-3 of the people who actually blog as characters from the book still have their charateristics
uhhh sorry if this feels like a rant, i just feel really bad because this blog group used to be golden to me and now it has lost all of its luster and i just want to express that.

i agree with the other anonymous. i also followed the blogs from the begnning, but now it seems like there are a few people who only made blogs to join the chat. i'm not going to say who, but they pretty much just made a few short posts to say they joined and never posted again. to me it seems that if you talk about stopping the chat most of you want to, but you never do. can i ask why?
I agree with the other anonymous 100 fucking pecent. I dunno if Mr. Anonymous means me, or like Brook or someone because after we joined thats when everyone else started joining. Esspecially now with the chat, I don't even know if people are a part of the gang, or fans that just come on a lot. I don't want to say names, but I feel like some people don't belong.
I'm fustrated with what the blogs have become, and I haven't even been doing it very long. I can't imagine how Soda must feel, reading back on his past posts, like the first ones, he is so good with being Soda, and all that jazz.
I'm not sure how to word it. I'm just mad, bringing in socs, fighting socs, wont help anything. The book is about friendship and a sence of belonging, while also struggling with the shit life throws at you. Thats how I see it anyway. I think our personal opionions about people, or feelings or whatever, are getting in the way of our charactors. I'm the first to addmit that I so badly wanted to get to know these people better. I really enjoy this shit, but its becoming kinda lameish with the chat.

i know we talked about getting rid of the chat alot before and nothing ever happened, but what does everyone think about accually closing it and just blogging. i mean, if you only want the chat to talk to people, you have their numbers and emails. and you can talk to them on facebook, but i think that the problems come from the chat, and the first step to getting back to the story line is to get rid of it.
that is what i think. Just adding socs back in is not gonna fix anything really. there are still many other leaks which are causing this boat to sink. I remember before when a new person asked to be a blogger, i was like ooooooh this will will be cool, but now, im like, not again. Before, i would be excited to come home from school to see if anyone has a new post but gradually when more people were involved and the story got more messed up, i looked at the blogs less and less and got disinterested which really disappoints me because i could always reread the book and feel the same feelings everytime. Also i feel frustrated because some of the old bloggers are transforming into the new bloggers and losing their original characteristics.
do you think you could tell us who it is? i mean someone may get offended, but i think we'd all want to know if it was us so we could work on fixing it. if not, thats cool too

This blog is not like it use to be, I like some of the new people but some of the original people are not like they use to be. Sometimes I re-read the old posts and then I read the updated ones and i'm thinking this isn't like the ousiders anymore, it's starting to become something else.
